Job Context
The Food & Beverage Assistant – Café is responsible for ensuring smooth, hygienic, and professional operations of the Passion Café and related food & beverage services. The role supports daily café activities, official meetings, buyer visits, and special events while maintaining high standards of hospitality, food safety, cleanliness, and stock control across café, showroom, and guest house facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Passion Café Operations
- Ensure the café opens on time and is fully prepared for service
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentable appearance at all times
- Follow daily hygiene and quality checklists strictly
- Maintain stock records and documentation
- Serve tea, coffee, and beverages to employees, buyers, and top management professionally
- Prepare beverages with high quality standards and proper presentation
- Arrange lunch setup for buyers and management
- Ensure timely replenishment of café and pantry items
- Support beverage services during buyer visits and official meetings
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, service etiquette, and confidentiality
- Coordinate with support teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Food Safety & Hygiene Maintenance
- Strictly follow personal hygiene and grooming standards (hair net, apron, gloves, trimmed nails, etc.)
- Clean and maintain all F&B appliances and cutleries properly
- Ensure cleanliness of café, showroom food counters, and related service areas
- Refill and maintain coffee machines and water tanks regularly
Customer, Event & Guest Support
- Serve tea and coffee to all internal and external guests
- Review buyer schedules daily/weekly to prepare service accordingly
- Provide refreshments and lunch during buyer meetings
- Assist in rooftop gardening and support food & beverage arrangements for customer entertainment or special events
Guest House F&B Support
- Provide food & beverage support at guest residence when required
Educational & Experience Requirements
- SSC / HSC completed
- Diploma, certification, or training in Food & Beverage will be an added advantage
- Minimum 03 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in hotel or food service management
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Additional Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a Barista will be an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Well-groomed, smart, energetic, and service-oriented
- High attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English
- Proactive, dynamic, and capable of working efficiently under pressure
